Showtime!

Here we are, at the beginning of June already! Reflecting back on the last month, it’s been a busy one for us here at Digitisation.IO.

The main highlight was our attendance at the Museums + Heritage Show at Olympia. We were there with our small stand, but we weren’t alone. Alongside us were our partners in our new 3D venture, ATS and Genus. We’d brought along the Arago, the robotic photogrammetry rig, and we’d also brought a story. In a first for our small team, we were part of the programme of talks and events. Alongside Spencer Clark from ATS and Paul Negus from Genus, Martin told the story of how the three companies have joined forces to offer a service creating 3D models and creative digital experiences. The catalyst for the service is the notable increase in requests for 3D digitisation and experiences from existing customers and the heritage sector received by all three. Conversations between the three companies at last year’s Museum + Heritage Show have led to this exciting partnership which we’re now launching.

If you didn’t see us at the show, there’s an opportunity to hear more about the service at our exclusive webinar on Wednesday 27th June at 11.00am. Registration is now open.

Webinar Summary:

  • Paul Negus, Managing Director of Genus, will introduce the combined services offered by ATS, Digitisation.IO and Genus and how the partnership could be the key to unlocking your collections and providing new and engaging experiences for your visitors – from conventional Heritage digitisation to our new 3D service.
  • Martin Devereux, Senior Consultant at Digitisation.IO, will outline the tools and techniques used to create 3D objects and will also showcase the new 3D object visualisation service launched by Digitisation.IO and their partners, Genus.
  • Spencer Clark, Managing Director of ATS, will show how 3D objects and visualisations can be used to create original stories and get audiences closer to the collections and the people that made them.

We will also have a Q&A session so please submit your questions on the registration form and we will answer on the day.

The webinar will be recorded and will be available to registered guests after the event has finished.
